Soundmeow: Audiophile Data Aggregation
Evaporize Studio architected a dynamic, relational database platform for Soundmeow, transforming scattered audiophile reviews into a centralized, high-performance data aggregator.
Structuring the Audiophile Ecosystem
The audiophile community relies heavily on expert reviews before investing in high-end In-Ear Monitors (IEMs), DACs, and digital audio players. However, this critical data is notoriously fragmented across dozens of forums, subreddits, and video channels. Soundmeow required a digital infrastructure capable of consolidating this massive data pool into a singular, authoritative metric: the Meowscore. The directive was to build a comprehensive data aggregator that possessed the complex filtering of a custom web app, without the immense deployment overhead of a bespoke React application.
Dynamic Architecture with JetEngine
To achieve enterprise-level data relations within a managed CMS, our engineering team deployed a highly customized stack utilizing Elementor Pro and Crocoblock’s JetEngine. We bypassed standard WordPress post loops entirely. Instead, we architected custom data tables, dynamic repeaters, and deep relational fields to handle hundreds of individual audio gear entities. By utilizing JetEngine's macro functionalities, we automated the calculation of the aggregate "Meowscore" directly within the database. The real challenge was performance: rendering massive, filterable grids of IEM data can cripple a server. We heavily optimized the database query parameters and strict asset caching. This ensured that users can cross-reference multiple expert reviews and filter by specific gear metrics with absolute zero friction on the front end.
"The deployment successfully established Soundmeow as a definitive hub for audio gear ratings. By pushing the structural limits of JetEngine, we delivered a complex, algorithmic aggregator that operates with the velocity and precision of a completely bespoke data platform."
